I might even up some more settings, and if the results stay like this, I might even enable 1 or 2 ray tracing options. Mayhaps only upgrading the drivers works for you as well.īut the fps boost that Ive gotten now, alongside smooth and solid gameplay, was the main reason to post this topic. Ofcourse I have to mention that prior to installing the Nvidia driver, I've done everything written in my guide which I've posted as well:īut I'm not sure if you need the combo to follow that guide, and install the latest drivers. Now this might sound bothersome, but in fact for me it only have gotten the game the boost it needed. With this new drivers, it goes up to around 12/13 in some cases, but mostly stick between 9/10 Prior to the drivers my game stuck at around 4/5gb of eated RAM. In this case, the memory usage lowers and rises every time, so the not responding tag is NOT (and i repeat NOT) true! You only gotta wait, and when you relaunch the game, the boot time is normal again.Īlso what I notice now, is that with these new drivers, the game itself eat a lot more memory. You will see hogwarts legacy most likely with the not responding tag, and eating a lot of memory. When you do, just alt tab back out to windows, right click the taskbar, and open task manager. So, dont be afraid when you get the black screen. So it was only once, cause of the new drivers. The game, is responding! The black screen will disappear after a while.įor me it took 10 minutes untill the shader screen appeared, but afterwards the game ran superb! And when i quit the game after, and launced it again, i didnt had to wait that long anymore. You will most likely experience a black screen though when installing the drivers, and it seems that the game is not responding, however. Didnt realised there was a new nvidia driver out in the wild, but it seems that 2 days ago, version 528.49 launched.Īnd with this specific driver the improvement in the game is enourmus for me! Much and much smoother gameplay, and a lot higher fps.
